Clarity 7 – THE Management Training Programme

Seven Individual One-Day Masterclasses

People don’t generally leave the job.. they leave poor managers

Clarity 7 is an innovative programme of seven one-day professional management and development masterclasses that will equip leaders, both new and existing, with the essential skills to lead and manage their teams for success

Requiring the investment of just one full day per month, the programme runs over a seven-month period to give delegates the opportunity to put into practice what they learn and the opportunity to reflect on achievements at the start of the next session.

The programme is delivered by qualified experts with a wealth of managerial, business management and HR experience. The training modules are delivered at our training centre here in Chester, or elsewhere if required.

Each masterclass is run over the course of one day and covers:

  1. What sort of people manager are you? Get to know yourself as a people manager – this module will include a behavioural survey and the provision of a Strengths and Development Report to inform the focus of your programme of activities .
  2. Setting the HR Strategy for successful people management – this module looks at establishing your HR toolkit and the difference between what is legally required and what is the best practice.
  3. Creating High Performance in your team – here we look at how to build a team with the right mix of skills and personalities, what is needed to create a culture that promotes collaborative work, and how to lead that team effectively.
  4. Performance Management – we focus on why managing your employees’ performance is important, what appraisal documentation could be used, and how to plan, format, develop and practice the necessary skills.
  5. Essential Legislation for People Managers – this module looks at the policies, best practice and legal implications for managers.
  6. Recruitment Skills and Techniques – we explore, set and follow a recruitment process that works as well as looking at selection techniques, including competency-based interviews.
  7. Developing a Coaching Style – this final module looks at management models in relation to coaching and how to develop coaching skills.

It has really helped me to understand my role better and given me the tools to deal with staff in a more professional and balanced way. I would recommend this course to anybody wanting to expand their managerial capabilities.”
