An excellent opportunity to join this long established and ever growing social enterprise as Senior Print Team Operative within the busy and expanding print room operation.  Its a lovely opportunity to help the local community as well as supporting the individual needs of our client’s customers.

As a key player in the Print team, you will ensure first class customer service is consistently delivered. Your role as Senior Print Team Operative is essential to maintaining high standards at all times, particularly during periods of increasing demand.  Reporting to the Print Room Supervisor, its an exciting opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success and expansion of the business.

As the new Senior Print Team Operative, you will…

  • Oversee and manage the printing, collation, and fulfilment of all postal requirements to meet service level agreements
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Print Room Supervisor, including acting as a deputy during absences
  • Train and mentor new and existing team members, ensuring consistent adherence to quality and performance standards
  • Maintain and operate a range of printing equipment, including Mono, Colour, and Braille printers
  • Ensure all docket books are accurately completed and managed before post collection
  • Collaborate with external suppliers to manage supplies and address equipment issues
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures and report any equipment breakdowns or issues promptly
  • Support other areas of the operations department as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability

As the successful Senior Print Team Operative candidate, you…

  • Have proven experience in a print and/or fulfilment environment
  • Can demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a track record of resolving client issues successfully
  • Are energetic and proactive and have the ability to inspire and motivate others around you
  • Have extremely good written and verbal communication skills
  • Work efficiently to tight deadlines and take a well organised approach to managing your working day
  • Are happy working both on your own and as part of a team
  • Can be adaptable and flexible as needed and will take a strong team-oriented approach in how you work if appropriate
  • Are absolutely committed to maintaining high standards of confidentiality and customer care
  • Will ideally have experience in training and mentoring other team members
  • Would preferably like to continue your own personal and professional development
